The ASCM committee does not guarantee that all submitted abstracts will be accepted or that the acceptance process can be completed within the "early bird" period.

Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission until the 30th of August 2025
Abstract acceptance notification by mid-September 2025

Guidelines for abstract submission:
​
Only ONE (1) abstract is allowed for oral presentation for each registered participant.
​
Poster presentation is restricted to TWO (2) for each registered participant.
​
Format:
-
Submit a single paragraph of no more than 300 words without references, tables, graphic images, or diagrams.
-
The abstract should include the objectives of the work, materials and methods, results, and discussion; a conclusion is optional but recommended.
-
The title should reflect the content, and the abstract must adhere to the theme of the conference, i.e. conservation medicine.
-
Also, the abstract submitted must comply with research ethics.

The abstract should not include acknowledgment. If you must mention the grants, they should be listed as briefly as possible. ​

POST-CONFERENCE ACTIVITY
17-18 October 2025
Dabong excursion (overnight)*
​
*Attractions & activities include birding, water tubing, hiking sunrise (Baha Camp), caving exploration (4 caves), waterfall excursion, and Stong Park.
Packing check list: hiking boots, light, breathable clothing for daytime heat, a light jacket/wind breaker/long sleeves may be useful in the evenings or early mornings, rain gear is recommended, change of clothes for water activities.
Fees include transportation from Kota Bharu to Dabong (return hotel to train station, train rides), and between sites in Dabong, 1 night accommodation, nature guide, entrance fee, 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner & mineral water.

** PLEASE NOTE, the trip will end on 18/10 late evening. If you have to fly out from Kota Bharu, it will have to be done on 19/10. Please make any arrangement to spend a night (18/10) in KB. Earlier departure will incur extra costs.
