Culinary Adventure

Asinan Bogor

A refreshing, tangy, and spicy salad made from a vibrant mix of pickled fruits and vegetables. The name asinan is derived from the Indonesian word asin (salty), referring to the traditional pickling process used to preserve and season the ingredients.

Doclang

This traditional Bogor specialty features lontong rice cakes steamed in patat leaves, paired with potatoes, tofu, and boiled eggs. The dish is finished with a generous pour of velvety peanut sauce and a crunch of traditional crackers.

Laksa Bogor

The boiling, thick yellow broth is poured over a bowl of rice vermicelli, oncom, tofu, ketupat, bean sprouts, and lemon basil, then drained and repeated several times until the ingredients are thoroughly heated.

Tauge Goreng

A savory vegetarian dish featuring stir-fried bean sprouts, sliced tofu, yellow noodles, and ketupat (compressed rice cake), all smothered in a rich, fermented oncom sauce that can be prepared mild or spicy.

Soto Kuning Bogor

This soulful soup boasts a rich coconut milk and turmeric base with bold, fragrant spices. Served with your choice of tender beef or offal, it is finished with crispy emping (melinjo crackers) and a bright squeeze of lime to perfectly balance the richness.

Soto Mie Bogor

This robust Indonesian specialty is built on a savory reddish-brown beef broth. It is packed with a satisfying mix of yellow noodles and vermicelli, then topped with its signature ingredient: crispy fried risoles.
